Northwest Sinfonietta’s Health & Safety policies
The safety of our audiences, orchestra and staff continues to be our highest priority as we return to live performances! As of April 11, Northwest Sinfonietta audiences at the Rialto Theater and Pioneer Park Pavilion will no longer be required to show proof of vaccination.
Also, masking is recommended, but not required at this time.
Northwest Sinfonietta will communicate regularly with patrons to provide up-to-date information about our events.
Please contact our office staff at (253) 383-5344 or office@nwsinfonietta.org at any time with questions.
rialto theater
In response to the pandemic, Tacoma venues and events has made the following modifications at the Rialto Theater:
HVAC upgrades to improve indoor air quality, including upgraded air filtration to MERV-13 standards to reduce contaminated air particles, protecting people from airborne bacteria and viruses. (completed in May 2021)
Electrostatic sprayers will be used to thoroughly disinfect between events. Electrostatic cleaning is a means of spraying a fine mist of positively charged disinfectant particles that adhere to surfaces and objects.
UV-C light array sanitizing units will be used to disinfect spaces between uses.
Hand sanitizer stations will be provided throughout the facility.
