If ever there was a piece to geek out about, it would be J.S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations. The structure alone, and the way Bach developed the work’s 32 movements (yes 32), will blow your mind. Join us on December 12 for this pre-concert talk at the beautiful Meeker Mansion in Puyallup. Musicologist Mark Samples and NWS Concertmaster Denise Dillenbeck will delve into the history and structure of the piece, give listening tips for our performances on December 21 & 22, and provide time for discussion and Q&A.
